I didn't make this one!

A while ago I wrote a post about my new god daughter Lily. Well, here she is... all grown up! Well almost!

At birth she weighed only 565 grams, and now, about 6 1/2  months later, she is a whopping 3.4kg! Still the size of a tiny newborn, but it just shows how far she has come.

She loves food... as you can see by the following pics! 0h, and the photo where she is crying - she throws a tantrum as soon as the spoon is taken from her mouth, trying to get us to hurry up!

 Food, I love food!

I really really love blueberry puree!

New Blog, New Start!

I decided I needed a fresh new look on my blog to inspire me to begin blogging again. I hope you like the new design and layout.

I have revamped and restocked my doll collection, and over the next few weeks, you will find a number of dolls dressed in costume, ready for halloween!

Meet Pauline's Little Man

I have been on a hiatus from my blog recently. I have a project I have been working on... not dolls, and I just want to get it finished. I am afraid if I put it down, I will just not finish it off, so I am determined to get it done!

Anyway, I have not completely given up on my doll making, I have some pictures to show you of a special boy, created for a good web friend, Pauline, from Funky Friends Factory. Pauline creates some adorable soft toy patterns that are easy to make. All toys made, turn out absolutely adorable and easy for beginners to follow.

Small Farm Field Day

I know it's been a while since I last posted.... I have been busy making dolls for the Balingup Small Farm Field Day that was held on the weekend.

I had a fantastic time, meeting lots of fantastic people! I hope to have some photos to show you soon! But now, I have no dolls to put in my store.... so I need to be making more dolls.... mmmm which dolls to make now?

My Danny G

I finished of my Danny G the other day and finally got around to taking some photos. Unfortunately, I seem to be having trouble taking photos at the moment and only one turned out. But I think he is cute all the same!

Finally! Check out my little quilted rabbits! I finally finished them off. Aren't they cute!

A little preemie for my Little Goddaughter Lily

Last week, on Valentine's Day, a special little girl was born. Lily May was born early at just 27 weeks and weighing only 565 grams. She is fighting hard in the NICU. 

I made her a little teenie preemie doll, that is actually bigger than she is! I made it as a momento for when she is older, Hope you like the pics!

 

  

 

More Custom orders...

I seem to be making more custom orders than anything else these days. So, unfortunately, not much posting has been going on. I will hopefully have a few more dolls for you soon!

These are two dolls I have made for custom orders. The first doll, I have nicknamed Missy. She is made from the 6inch Dinky Dinky pattern. It was difficult sewing such small eyes on!

 

The next doll, Candy, is slightly bigger at 8 Inches. She is very similar, just as you can see, so different in so many ways!

 

They are both off to the US! Enjoy yourselves girls!

I have been working on custom orders....

Here is a picture of a little doll, I made for a custom order for a customer in the US. She wanted a smaller version of my Rhea Doll, so this little one is about 8 inches tall!

 

I also finished another custom doll, but I was too excited, and I delivered her to a work colleague,  and forgot to take some photos! Ooops. I really have to remember to take more photos!
